Where AI may help

  • Organizing explanations into answer, rule, distractor analysis, domain, and next-practice sections.
  • Helping users think through practice scenarios they paste into the explainer.
  • Assisting with drafts, outlines, and study-guide structure under human direction.
  • Suggesting next study actions based on available page, question, and domain context.

Where AI has limits

  • AI can misunderstand a scenario or overstate a rule.
  • AI is not a BCBA, supervisor, instructor, lawyer, clinician, or certification authority.
  • AI output should not be used with client-identifying information, PHI, or confidential workplace material.
  • Official exam eligibility, rules, and requirements should be verified with current BACB materials.

How to use AI explanations safely

Treat AI explanations as a study prompt. Compare the reasoning with your coursework, supervision, official materials, and qualified instruction. If an explanation seems unclear or incorrect, report it so the content can be reviewed.
