Methodology
BCBA Scenario Tutor combines a companion explainer, original study questions, timed mini mocks, and local weak-area review. It does not host official BACB questions or claim to replace supervised instruction. The current product is maintained by an independent developer and does not claim BCBA human review.
Transparency First
The product uses transparent process controls instead of expert-name marketing. Current study items are labeled as original study examples, mapped to a domain and task, checked by automated validation scripts, and separated from official or commercial exam content.
How Explanations Are Structured
Each response separates the recommended answer, scenario clue, answer-choice analysis, rule to remember, estimated domain, and next study suggestion. This helps users understand the reasoning pattern instead of only seeing an answer.
Task Mapping
The internal study map covers 9 domains and 104 task-level planning nodes based on public BACB 6th Edition TCO information. Domain and task references are study labels; they help users organize review and should not be read as official BACB classification. See the sources page for official sources users should check directly.
Content Boundary
The app includes original study items and can explain user-provided practice questions, but it should not be used to upload full books, commercial question banks, or client records. Generated and seeded practice items are original study examples, not official exam content.
Quality Process
Every seeded practice item must include a correct answer, answer-choice rationale, concept tags, a domain, a task label, and source notes. Automated checks validate required fields, answer keys, machine-gate status, runtime eligibility, concept coverage, and task-map coverage before deployment. User reports are treated as review signals for future edits.
The current automated validation process is not the same as qualified human review. See the editorial policy and corrections policy for the current content-quality process.
What Is Not Claimed
The app does not claim pass guarantees, official BACB endorsement, real exam access, or BCBA-reviewed status. If expert review is added later, those pages and item labels should be updated only for the content that was actually reviewed.
